SECTION 096400 - WOOD FLOORING
In addition to general MASTERSPEC instructions for coordinating Drawings with Specifications, Drawings should indicate the following information related to this Section:
- Location and extent of each type, finish, color, pattern, size, etc., of wood flooring.
- Borders and patterns created by wood flooring. Include wood species and the orientation of flooring in the space.
- Details and locations of wood and metal feature strips if any.
- Details and locations of trim and moldings that match wood flooring. Include thresholds, reducer strips, nosings, base, shoe, and stair risers and treads. Indicate sizes to the extent not specified.
- Details to accommodate expansion to the extent not specified.
- Details of wood flooring interface with supporting construction. Include locations of sleepers, vapor retarders, underlayment, and underfloor ventilation.
- Details of unusual edge conditions, profiles, plugged screw holes, and similar features.
