This updated Section specifies hydronic cooling fan-coil units with hydronic or electric heat. It also includes units for concealed installation with external duct connections and units for exposed installation in occupied rooms, with finished cabinets for surface and recessed mounting in ceilings or walls.

- "Connections" Article was deleted from Part 3 of the Section Text.
- "Product Characteristics" Article was added to the Evaluations to define the differences between fan- coil units and ducted fan-coil units and to describe the attributes of available filters and controls.
- "Product Selection and Application Considerations" Article in the Evaluations was revised to include the advantages of fan-coil units.
- "Energy Considerations" Article in the Evaluations was revised to include information about carbon dioxide sensors.
- "Environmental Considerations" Article was added to the Evaluations to review ventilation, refrigerants, and indoor-air quality issues.
- "LEED Rating" Article was added to the Evaluations to describe methods of using this Section to qualify for LEED credits.
