SECTION 238219 - FAN COIL UNITS
In addition to general MasterSpec instructions for coordinating Drawings with Specifications, Drawings should indicate the following information related to this Section:
- Locations of fan-coil units, with units drawn to scale.
- Cabinet details. Show support of units, hangers, vibration isolation, and interface between cabinets and architectural finishes.
- Locations of access doors and panels providing access to concealed fan-coil units.
- Sizes and locations of piping and duct connections to fan-coil units.
- Sizes and locations of outside-air louvers.
- Piping schematics. Show piping connections, valves, and specialties. Include valves for isolating and balancing, thermometers, unions, and gages.
- Condensate drain piping to indirect waste connection.
- Electrical power connections.
- Thermostat and humidistat locations.
- Special supports and anchorages on floor plans and details of supports as required. Include special supports and bracing required to meet seismic conditions.
