SECTION 09640 - WOOD FLOORING

In addition to general MasterSpec instructions for coordinating Drawings with Specifications, Drawings should indicate the following information related to this Section:

    Location and extent of each type, finish, color, pattern, size, etc., of wood flooring.
    Borders and patterns created by wood flooring. Include wood species and the orientation of flooring in the space.
    Details and locations of wood and metal feature strips if any.
    Details and locations of trim and moldings that match wood flooring. Include thresholds, reducer strips, nosings, base, shoe, and stair risers and treads. Indicate sizes to the extent not specified.
    Details to accommodate expansion to the extent not specified.
    Details of wood flooring interface with supporting construction. Include locations of sleepers, vapor retarders, underlayment, and underfloor ventilation.
    Details of unusual edge conditions, profiles, plugged screw holes, and similar features.
