Specification Types
Each MASTERSPEC Library includes documents in three formats or types. Select the specification type that suits your practice:
- Full Length — The best solution for moderate- to large-scale, complex projects and varied bidding and contracting situations
- Short Form — Abridged versions of the most common specifications.
- Outline — Corresponding outline specifications that jumpstart design development and schematic phases
Most MASTERSPEC Full-length, Short-form, or Outline Libraries offer you a choice of specification packages:
- Basic — Most commonly used sections for typical commercial projects
- Expanded — The Basic Package Plus the Supplemental version, which includes sections addressing more specialized project requirements
