MASTERSPEC Section Components

MASTERSPEC Full-length and Short-form libraries include master specification section text:

  • Section Text: Master guide specifications in three-part CSI format along with editor's notes (instructions) and cross-references to Evaluations. Simply edit the section text for in-house or project-specific specifications. If applicable, users may also access PRODUCT MASTERSPEC sections (custom edited sections that present product manufacturers' information).

Each Full- length and Short-form Section Text comes with a companion set of Supporting Documents, including:

  • Evaluations: Qualitative overview of products and discussion of recent technologies, including:
    • Testing procedures and applicable codes

    • Direct links to the manufacturer and standards organizations
  • Drawing Coordination Checklist: A checklist of items to coordinate this section with the drawings.
